The Place des Lices is undergoing a small tree revolution. The town hall of Saint-Tropez has just replanted 17 hackberry trees following the necessary felling of plane trees affected by the disease known as "chancre coloré". The "Environment" department selected the trees in Italy to find those that would best fit the emblematic Place des Lices. At the same time, an automatic watering system and a wooden frame were installed. The work did not prevent the bowlers from playing their favorite sport.
